Instrumental Music

OCASA Arts offers the most unique instrumental music program in all of Southern California.

At OCASA, students are lead through an in-depth, scientific experience through the world of music, on the instrument of their choosing. The OCASA musician is not only taught how to play and read notes on their instrument, but is handed down the understanding of what notes truly are, how they function and interact with one another, and how to use them for their own creations.

Students may choose to play either a traditional wind ensemble instrument, or a non-traditional school ensemble instrument, such as guitar, bass or drum set, all taught within the same ensemble rehearsals.

3rd - 8th grade OCASA students participate in our instrumental music program, receiving 3 to 4 instrumental music classes each week, with several performance opportunities throughout the school year.
