Artist in Residence

Kira Martin is a professional dancer and dance instructor who comes to us from the Pacific Ballet Conservatory.  Accepted into the San Francisco Ballet, and an attendee of the Houston Ballet Summer Incentive, Kira will be spreading her love of dance all around campus and guiding our OCASA Dance Club members through her original choreography.  As a former teacher of children's choreography in local public schools, we are so fortunate to have this talented artist bring her drive and experience to our students.

You can see Kira Martin live in Pacific Theatre Ballet's seasonal productions.

Visual artist, author, illustrator, and creator of POAB Designs, Daniel Quinones is this year's, "OCASA Artist on the Fly".   We will be following Daniel Quinones's career over the next several months, as he creates works of art for companies such as Harley Davidson, Nike, DreamWorks, and more.

Through video calls and campus visits, Quinones is a wonderful inspiration for our incredible OCASA students who dream of one day being a full time artist who can truly impact our world through the many different genres of the art world.

Suchi Sadasivuni

Mrs. Nagalakashmi Suchitra Sadasivuni is an up and coming visual artist who is on the verge of posting her newest works on the "Orangenious, Inc." site, a New York based arts company that gives new artist a platform that reaches millions.  A self studied visual artist who is aspiring to make Art her full time passion, Mrs. Sadasivuni is also an OCASA parent who volunteers and teaches on a weekly basis in our Arts Quest.

We are so fortunate to have such a creative and knowledgable visual artist on campus, and by the end of the year every young OCASA artist will have had the opportunity to learn from Mrs Sadasivuni.

Everyday on our campus, OCASA students are inspired and encouraged by visual artist, Gina L'amour.  A graduate from Cal State University, Long Beach with a degree in visual arts, Ms. L'amour has had her work featured on Nolan Paper Company's national product line of, "Mohawk Super Fine", the South Pasadena Art Gallery, and Bullocks Westwood.  It  was during her credential program at Cal State, Northridge that Gina L'amour fell in love with teaching.

Mrs. L'amour is still a working artist who has produced several

commissioned works, and during the summers you can often catch her around the Laguna, Festival of the Arts, because our Mrs. L'amour has been a makeup artist for the Pageant of the Masters for last four years.
